The Burbank Chorale is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing opportunities for participation in the creation and enjoyment of fine choral music. It is open to all residents of Burbank and surrounding communities throughout the region.

Dr. Anna Krendel, pianist
 
Dr. Krendel's versatile  performance career spans from solo recitals and chamber music concerts to movie soundtracks.  A winner of several piano competitions and a recipient of numerous university and community awards, Dr. Krendel enjoys performing, teaching, and collaborating with choral groups,  instrumentalists, and vocalists.  Born in Kharkov, Ukraine, Anna began her solo piano career at the age of fourteen,  performing the Piano Concerto #1 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartoldi with the Kharkov Youth Symphony Orchestra. Educated in the Ukraine and in the US, Dr. Krendel learned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the University of Southern California.  Dr. Krendel is the founder and the executive director of MUSYCA (Musical Youth of California), a non-profit music education organization she established in 2010.  She also serves as the president-elect, district coordinator, and a Romantic Piano Festival chair for the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT).
