Musical Director
Misha Shtangrud, artistic director and conductor, studied choral conducting at the Moscow State Music College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from California State University at Northridge. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California in May of 2006. In addition to his work with the Burbank Chorale, Misha serves as the music director at Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena, and the director of vocal ensembles at the Colburn School of Performing Arts. Misha is a member of the American Choral Directors' Association and the National Association for Music Education. |
