100 Reasons to Sing With the Burbank Chorale!

2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Burbank Chorale! Since our founding in 1920, the Burbank Chorale has made history, winning numerous awards and performing at historic events such as the Olympic Chorus during the 1932 Olympic games in Los Angeles and the World's Fair expositions in San Diego in 1935 and San Francisco in 1939. In 2007 and 2010, members of the Burbank Chorale performed at Carnegie Hall under the baton of John Rutter.

So it is fitting that in our Centennial Year, the Burbank Chorale is again making history by launching our first ever Virtual Semester! We are living in extraordinary times that historians will write about for years, if not decades. The Chorale is now part of the global movement toward virtual musical performance, which is uniting musicians and audiences beyond geographical limits. Although a virtual performance will never replace the immediacy and excitement of the live experience, this is challenging us to expand our technical capabilities as artists and take the Chorale to new heights.

Here’s to the next 100 Years!
